KARACHI: Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) of Education and Literacy Department has approved 113 new development projects of Rs. 4,716.2 million.
An announcement here on Monday said the meeting was chaired by secretary education. He said that for these projects of various Education Sub-Sectors an allocation of Rs.1201.517 million had been provided during the current financial year 2016-17.
Up gradation of 28 Primary Schools to the level of Elementary/Middle School, Establishment of 04 new Colleges in Thul, Setharja, Garhi Yasin & 60 Mile (Taluka Daur), Construction of new buildings for existing colleges at Mansoorah (District Matiari), Bozdar Wada (District Khairpur) , Law College Sukkur & Nasra Public School Khairpur.
Whereas 1000 complaints received through Ilmi Complaint Management Cell regarding Infrastructure Development (ILMI) wherein complaints about rehabilitation/ improvement/ renovation and missing facilities, construction of buildings for shelterless existing schools. The meeting was attended by senior officers.
