ISLAMABAD: Naila Baqir, a bureaucrat and daughter of a senior judge, has been appointed on deputation as general manager (Finance and Budget) of the National Highway Authority (NHA). Earlier, she was appointed on deputation to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). She was reappointed to the NAB on deputation after commencing court proceeding against officials appointed on deputation to the NAB. Earlier, Justice Dost Muhammad’s son was also appointed to NAB on deputation but he was repatriated by his parent department. It is worth-mentioning here that the Supreme Court is going to conduct proceeding against officials appointed on deputation to the NAB.
