LAHORE: A resolution against the open sale of harmful Indian libido boosters has been submitted in Punjab Assembly. The resolution was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed legislators in the House Malik Taimur Masood in the Notice Branch of the assembly secretariat. After filing the resolution, the PTI leader while talking to Daily Times confirmed that he had filed a resolution against illegal Indian steroids, as the medicines were damaging kidneys of consumers. In the resolution, Taimur said that many Indian-made products/medicines were available in the local markets across Punjab, being generally used for enhancement of sexual power. He said that the sale of Indian libido boosters in Pakistani markets was totally illegal, and added that such steroids were easily available at medical stores. The PTI leader further expressed his concern in the resolution, saying that such Indian steroids were damaging the kidneys of Pakistanis aged between 25 and 40 years. Taimur demanded the Punjab government that it should take serious notice of the issue and take steps to stop the sale of such illegal medicines in the local markets. He also urged the Punjab government in the resolution that it must fix a punishment for the sellers of Indian libido boosters, besides imposing a ban on the advertisement of such products. The legislator also hoped that his resolution would be taken up in the next Punjab Assembly session and be passed unanimously, as it was a serious issue concerning the future generation of the country.
