PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Parvaiz Khattak has said his government would stage a comeback to power as against the past traditions of the province where people never voted any party again for not delivering. He was talking to two different delegations from Mardan led by Zahid Durrani and Yousaf Tarand of Battagram here at Chief Minister House. Provincial Minister Muhammad Atif Khan and others were also present. The chief minister said his government delivered in all spheres of governance particularly eliminating corruption and laying down the foundation for good governance. He said it was the openness and transparency of his government that would become the foundation for a new Pakistan. He added that PTI in the next phase would win the hearts of the people. He said his government stood by the people and gave relief to them. Khattak asked the members of the delegations to tell the people of their areas about the aims of Ehtesab rally to be taken out on September 30. He added that Imran Khan and PTI wanted to put pressure on institutions to be responsive to their responsibilities for undertaking accountability across the board. The people, he added, had the undeniable right to ask questions about the use and abuse of power and authority of the ruling elite.
