KP Assembly passes resolution against Indian brutalities

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution against the shelling of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and killing of the innocent Kashmiris.

The resolution was moved by member provincial assembly of Pakistan People’s Party, Fakhr-e-Azam Wazir stated that in occupied Kashmir the brutalities and atrocities of Indian forces are loudly condemned as brutal forces are killing people including women and children.

MPA Bakht Baidar of Qaumi Watan Party said that his party and the all political parties in KP fully support the resolution, adding that all the tribal people and citizen of KP fully support Pak-Army and if any action taken by the India or Indian forces they will face surely defeat like 1965 war.

Parliamentary leader of Awami National Party in the provincial assembly Sardar Hussain Babak said that both the countries should think to solve all their problems through dialogue. He added that in social media and other electronic media the tension escalated between two countries, adding that this was a crucial time for both the countries to fight against poverty, terrorism and other issues.

He further said that Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, India and all other neighboring countries should work on good relations and all the issues should be resolved with mutual understanding and discussions.

“Pakistan and India both the countries should move forward for peace process and dialogue as both the countries are not capable to fight with each other as it will affect both the countries people”, he added.

Another resolution was also passed unanimously by the House on rising trend of voilance against women in KP. The resolution was move by Women Parliamentary Cacus (WPC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and QWP MPA Miraj Hamayun Khan in the provincial assembly. In the resolution it was demanded from the provincial government and the concerned departments to take practical steps against the perpetrators of honour killing in the province. MPA Rashda Bibi presented a resolution in the provincial assembly that all the government teachers must be bound to admit their children in government schools but unfortunately the resolution was not passed by the assembly as it was not signed from at least seven members of the assembly.
