Locust’s attack

Sir: Locust’s favourite meal is a lush green crop. According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, most crops were destroyed by locusts plague in Ethiopia and Somalia. Locusts then travelled to Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and entered Pakistan. Locusts reportedly destroyed crops in Karachi Malir, Khairpur, Sukkur, Sanghar, Umarkot and Thar.

There should be better planning for these locusts otherwise, they are going to down the economy of the country.
