Well, age is just a number these days when talking about success. Riding high in the entertainment business, actress Ramsha Khan is one young superstar who has indeed proved her mettle in the industry.

While she already has done enough to show her talent, in the last few years, she has outdone herself with a successful string of projects like Shahrukh Ki Saaliyan, Kaisa Hai Naseeban, and Khudparast we know, Khan is a bona fide star.

With each project, Ramsha Khan is becoming bigger and better. The talented actress is all set to feature in yet another big project titled Ishqiya. Interestingly, this is the second time she pairs up with Feroze Khan after ‘Woh ik Pal’ that was her debut project. It would be interesting to witness their crackling chemistry yet again.

The teasers of ‘Ishqiya’ are surfacing on social media and we are not stuck up on our mid-week blues anymore. Directed by Badar Mehmood, who previously helmed ‘Balaa’ and ‘Cheekh’ seems to have a winner on hand yet again. In what seems like an exceptional style of storytelling, he dishes ‘Ishqiya’ stirred with his unique style. Written by Mohsin Ali, produced by Fahad Mustafa, Ishqiya features Feroze Khan, Ramsha Khan, Hania Aamir, and Mirza Gohar Rasheed in crucial roles.

For all the big ideas about life and the dilemmas of youth, the first two teasers of the drama serial right away introduce the lead protagonists. Hamza (Feroze Khan), a university student, is genuinely in love with Humna (Ramsha Khan). We get the journey, which is both literal and emotional; the relationship that slowly shifts gears to opposing ends; the wounded looks and teary separation.

The twist turns and changing situations in the narrative make Roomi (Hania Aamir) the third end of the love triangle that faces the consequences. We also get to see glimpses of Mirza Gohar Rasheed; his character, though, remains intriguing. As of now, the characters seem to be sketchily etched, and the psychological bends that they encounter on the way to self-realization are simplistic to catch the audience by surprise. There are some great and simple lines with the most complex situations; things are a little weird and twisted between the trio, and it’s all due to a little something called love. A special mention on the soul-stirring OST crooned by Asim Azhar backed up by powerful lyrics.

A love triangle focuses on elements of a romantic relationship that involves three people. In our dramas, this aspect is hugely popular with the masses, leaving them happy than teary-eyed. Getting an emotional response from audiences is no easy task for the makers. In many such stories, the audience’s empathy and sympathy towards the three protagonists involved in a relationship are divided. Ishqiya seeks to whip up the perfect mix for the quest of love and revenge, with dollops of drama thrown in with reasonable measures to tug at youthful hearts.

With Ramsha Khan starring in the lead in what seems like another unconventional role for the rising young star, we can’t wait to see her work her magic in this new role finally. While the storyline looks promising, and so does the rest of the cast, Ramsha Khan’s character is what has us highly anticipating how and where the story is going to head, because the teasers have convinced us that it’s going to be good!
