Mirani tribe protests for early recovery of hostage

SUKKUR: People of Mirani community staged a protest rally in front of Press Club Sukkur here on Wednesday and demanded the early release of Allah Rakhiyo Mirani, a taxi driver.

“A week ago, few members of the mahar community people had booked the taxi from Rohri station for Salehpat where they kept the taxi driver Allah Rakhiyo Mirani as captive and demanding the ransom money or else to face dangerous results”, demonstrators said.

They demanded the SSP Sukkur and other higher authorities to get their relative released from the captivity of the mahar community as the life of driver Allah Rakhiyo could be saved.
