Author: Staff Report

With the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) set to start on February 20, 2020, the release of PSL 2020 anthem has stirred a major conversation on twitter, where cricketing fans are calling out Pakistan Cricket Board to bring singer and actor Ali Zafar back as his 2017 PSL anthem “Ab khel jamay ga” still resonates with audiences as the best PSL anthem to date.

Ali Zafar’s “Ab khel jamay ga” continues to be the soul and voice of the PSL, chosen twice consecutively for the honour of composing, singing and performing the anthem. Zafar’s undeniable popularity is a testament to his body of work and songs which connect with the hearts and minds of the cricket loving nation.

Zafar has maintained and continues to maintain the fact that PSL is for Pakistan and whoever the platform chooses to sing their anthem, Ali will and has backed them a 100 percent as their fellow industry performing artist.
