Sonya Hussyn shared her experience of playing the role of Gauhar. She talked about her journey and shared, “This was one of my toughest projects so far. Dissociative personality disorder is something that isn’t discussed far and wide. Kudos to @humtvpakistanofficial for bringing this to light.”

She thanked her entire team including; her co-star Zahid Ahmed, Sami Khan, Zarnish Khan, and Yumna Zaidi. She also mentioned that these people supported her which helped her in the proper portrayal of her character.

Sonya Hussyn talked about the challenging subject and said, “As challenging as this subject was, we wanted to address mental health issues and to showcase how to treat such patients so that they can put their insecurities to rest.”

Her fans’ support made this journey more beautiful. “Thank you everyone, all my followers, viewers, for the tremendous support throughout the project. You made this journey a beautiful one.”

She advised people who are suffering from mental illness and wrote, “To anyone suffering from anxiety, depression and insecurities – please open up to someone. Your mind is a creative space which should only harbour positive thoughts. Seek help, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. You’re beautiful however you are.”
