GM Syed’s 116th birthday celebrated

Sindh United Party Chairman Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah, who is the grandson of GM Syed, founder of Jeay Sindh Tahreek, speaking on non-appointment of eligible Sindhi youths, educated candidates and those have degrees of masters and graduation and PhDs in the sector of oil and gas in Sindh, urged the chief justices of the Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court to take notice.

He said that the oil and gas multinational companies searching and exploring oil and gas from various parts of Sindh were earning billions of dollars from Jamshoro, Dadu, Larakana, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Khairpur, Badin, Sanghar, Shikarpur and other districts of Sindh, but with connivances of provincial and federal governments, as the multinational companies were neglecting the local eligible people who had gotten degrees from MUET-Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro, Sindh University and other universities in in the relevant field.

He was speaking the programme of 116 birth day anniversary of late GM Syed, founder of Jeay Sindh Tahreek, at the bungalow of GM Syed along the dyke of Indus River in Sann town on Friday. The function was organized by SUP and family of GM Syed. SUP chairman Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah along with other family members of GM Syed, nationalist party leaders and SUP leaders cut the 116 birth day anniversary cake of GM Syed in a program.

Speaking to the program, Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah said that Sindh province was, generating and paying more revenue to federal, producing high ratio of gas, oil but in a return, the people of the province were completely neglected in the jobs at oil and gas multinational companies operating in Sindh.

He said that complaints were received on high level by the candidates that they had submitted even their CVs of their eligibility to the head offices of oil and gas multinational companies for jobs but they were refused to appoint them. He said that even 2 percent local people were not appointed in the skilled, un-skilled and management sectors of the oil and gas multinational companies. He said that people related with Punjab, KPK, and Balochistan were appointed at key posts in oil and gas multinational companies.

He said that there was monopoly and mafia which had controlled the oil and gas multinational companies in Sindh and they were not following the merit in appointments in this sector.

He warned very soon, a program would be announced against multinational companies of oil and gas and protests would be held against them in different parts of Sindh for neglecting youths in appointment in oil and gas multinational companies.

He appealed to Chief Justice of SC -Supreme Court of Pakistan that original and eligible people of Sindh were deprived from their basic rights of jobs in the oil and gas multinational companies hence to take notice against oil and gas multinational companies and direct them to appoint educated youths of areas.
