PPP to take out rally on Oct 16

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presided over a meeting to discuss Party’s rally scheduled on October 16 to mark the anniversary of October 18, 2007 terrorist attack at Karsaz on Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s reception rally.

The meeting was attended by Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Ahmed Shah, MNA Faryal Tapur, former Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Qamaruz Zaman Kaira, Jameel Soomro, Saeed Ghani, Waqar Mehdi, Murtaza Wahab and Najmi Alam.

The participants briefed the PPP Chairman about the arrangements being made for the rally, which will start from Bilawal House and culminate at Karsaz where the terrorist attack was conducted nine years ago. They said that Party workers and the masses are being mobilized and October 16 Rally of the Party was going to be the largest rally in megalopolis history.
