ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan slammed the government on Sunday for not inviting Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed to the parliamentary parties’ meeting to be held on Monday.

Upset at his political ally Sheikh not being invited by the government for the parliamentary parties meeting to be held on Monday, PTI chief Imran said that the action demonstrated the discriminatory attitude of the government towards the AML chief. Imran Khan took to Twitter and posted a tweet to show his disappointment at Sheihk Rasheed not being invited to the meeting.

PTI and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) as well as other political parties have been invited by the government to attend the meeting and provide their opinion on important security-related matters such as the atrocities being committed in occupied Kashmir and escalating tensions with India.

PTI will be represented by vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi whereas PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will represent his party in the meeting.
