ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the Strike Corps Headquarters on Monday in Mangla and reviewed operational preparedness of the army.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Strike Corps commander briefed the top general. Commanders of Lahore Corps, Gujranwala Corps, Peshawar Corps and director general military operations were also present.
Security sources told Daily Times that the army chief praised the operational preparedness of the Strike Corps while the latest situation on Line of Control and Working Boundary also came under discussion. The participants made it clear that any aggression would receive a befitting response
