Murad to become new president of PPPP Sindh

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah would be the new President of Pakistan Peoples Party in Sindh.

It has been learnt that this would be announced once the meetings of provincial Coordination Committee headed by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari comes to an end.

Bilawal has short listed provincial leadership with new assignments following the meetings to reorganize the party at provincial level.

Sources told Daily Times that Murad Ali Shah has been selected for the post due to his active role in the party and the government.

Earlier, Bilawal evaluated the performances of each elected member and the Party leadership.

A disciplinary committee was also constituted under the chairmanship of former CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah to investigate violations, misconducts, and indiscipline shown by the party members in Local Government Elections 2016.
