21 Iraqi pro-govt fighters killed in aerial attack: officials

BAGHDAD: An air strike killed 21 Iraqi pro-government fighters on Wednesday in an area south of Mosul, a commander and a minister said.

The raid hit the fighters around 1 am on Wednesday, east of the town of Qayyarah, which was recaptured from the Islamic State group in August, the officials said.
