Author: News Desk

Three people died and several were left injured on Thursday after a three-storey building collapsed near the city’s Hussaini Road.

According to rescue officials, relief operations were being carried out with the help of locals. Four people who were buried under the rubble had been rescued.

Darkness proved to be a hindrance in relief efforts, as per rescue officials. The collapse caused a power outage as a result of damage to an 11KV electric wire that was providing electricity to the area. A crane had been called to lift the debris from the site. According to locals, three families resided in the building that collapsed.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and ordered the injured to be provided best medical aid immediately.
