Ahmed Ali Butt starts work on his second film

KARACHI: After the blockbuster success of ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’, award-winning actor Ahmed Ali Butt starts shooting for his second film ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ where he is playing the second lead.

ARY Films and Six Sigma Films team up with director Nadeem Baig which stars Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat in the leads.

Ahmed Ali Butt shares, “‘JPNA’ was a blockbuster and working again with this talented team is always a pleasure. I am actually looking forward to the feedback of my fans who will see me in a new avatar in this movie.”

‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ is slated for release in 2017.

Ahmad Ali Butt is a Pakistani rapper, film, television and voice actor and rock music keyboardist. He was born to Jehan-Rizvi family, his mother, Zille Huma, and grandmother, Noor Jehan, were both popular singer in the country and helped shaped the music industry of Pakistan. He is the grandson of Shaukat Hussain Rizvi, and cousin of Sonya Jehan and Sikander Rizvi. He started his career in mid-1990s after merging the two bands, now known as Entity Paradigm.

In early 2000s, he began perform in theatre and earned public acclaim for his critical acting work for a popular television sitcom ‘Jutt & Bond’ aired on Indus Vision.
