Condolence reference held for youth who died in FC custody

Condolence reference for the tribal youth, Khatir Shinwari who lost his life in custody of Frontier Corp (FC) was held at Bacha Khan Square, Landi Kotal Bazaar on Thursday.

The peaceful set-in was organized under the auspices of Khyber Sayasi Ittehad and large number of people of different walk of life participated in the gathering.

Addressing on the occasion Awami National Party (ANP) district president Shah Hussain Shinwari, Mufti Ijaz of Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam Fazal Rehman (JUI-F), Jamat-e-Islami (JI) tehsil leader Abdur Rauf Shinwari, Hazrat Wali Afridi of Pakistan People Party (PPP), local chief of Tanzeem Ahle Sunnah wal Jumat Shakir Afridi, Zakir Afridi of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), local elite of Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party (PJDP) Kareemullah, Malik Darya Khan Afridi and others said that innocent Khatir Shinwari who had been detained by the FC troops was mercilessly killed in the detention of the forces needed to be probed.

Keeping in view the tribal sacrifices, the rendered for the sake of their motherland, they should be valued but here they were being subjected to worse kind disrespect in the name of search operation and raids.

“The forces deliberately disturb peacefully environment of our area which is not to be let”, they remarked.

To hide their incompetency at the border, the FC officials had arrested a dozen of innocent dwellers of Pased Khel tribe in false allegations they said and adding we want to settle the issue through dialog but it must be based on justice.

Leaders of Khyber Sayasi Ittehad maintained that they would carried out the peaceful set-in at Bacha Khan Chowk, Landi Kotal Bazaar for four days and on Sunday they would present the future strategy at general public gathering.
