Benazir Bhutto’s birthday celebrated in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: The 64th birthday of Pakistan People’s Party late chairperson Benazir Bhutto was celebrated at the residence of southern Punjab Deputy Information Secretary Saleem Bhatti on Thursday. On the occasion, Bhatti and other party workers paid glowing tributes to the services of the first woman prime minister of the country and the Muslim world, and vowed to continue her mission of bringing socio-economic change in society. He said that Benazir Bhutto was the voice of the people and true protector of the national interest. Bhatti called upon the PPP workers to actively participate in party activities and be ready for the next general election.
