Ready to conquer any threat: COAS

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday visited the frontline troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Haji Pir sector area of Azad Kashmir.

He was given a detailed briefing by the local formation commander on the operational preparedness of the units and formation, read a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Speaking on the occasion, the chief of army staff showed his complete satisfaction over high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil being maintained by troops along the Line of Control.

He made it clear that every soldier of the valiant armed forces was ready to defend every inch of the beloved motherland. Sources said the top general cleared that Pakistan was a responsible state having no designs against other countries, but ready to defeat any challenge and threat to the motherland.

Earlier on arrival, General Raheel Sharif was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Malik Zafar Iqbal.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday made it clear that any aggression will not go unpunished and will be met with the most befitting response.
