Afghan authorities impose cargo charges on Pakistani goods’ trucks

ISLAMABAD: The Afghan authorities have imposed5000 Afghan rupees on Pakistani trucks as cargo charges inQandahar province close to Balochistan province.

The imposition of cargo charges has been confirmed by VicePresident of Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and IndustryJamaludDin Achakzai while talking to BBC. He said these charges have not been imposed by the Afghancentral government, but by the local administration of Qandaharprovince. He said these charges have been received between Chamman andSpinbuldak.
