Three arrested for stealing transformers

ISLAMABAD: At least three thieves were arrested in a raid carried out by the Anti-Robbery wing of Special Investigation Unit (SIU), a local news channel reported.

The arrested were linked to an inter-provincial gang being involved in pilfering activities of such kind. Moreover, a truck was also recovered from the group used in various activities of the gang.

It has also been reported that such sort of activities were also carried out by the inter-provincial gang in Taxila, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Lahore. Meanwhile, special teams have also been established for the arrest of other members of the gang.
