COAS reviews training regime at PMA, inaugurates 4th Pak Battalion

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif emphasised on young cadets to focus on all round professional grooming and said that our officers have always upheld the proud tradition of leading from the front during the fight against terrorism. He was addressing the cadets on Monday during his visit of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul. The visit was focused on reviewing the current training regime for cadets and PMA’s capacity enhancement projects including inauguration of the 4th Pakistan Battalion.

According to ISPR, the COAS appreciated ongoing improvements in the training and administrative facilities for cadets. He said that with an enhanced degree of professional ethos, pride and esprit de corps, Pakistan’s army could meet all challenges effectively and comprehensively.

“During the fight against terrorism, our officers have always upheld the proud tradition of leading from the front, regardless of the cost,” the COAS emphasised. Earlier, on arrival at PMA, the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Qamar Javed Bajwa, IGT& E and Commandant PMA, and Major General Nadeem Raza.
