A big protest rally was taken out by Pakistan Zindabad Movement in Dadu city against the court verdict to hang to death former military dictator General (r) Pervez Musharraf.
The rally was taken out from Irrigation Colony, which marched through different roads before reaching the Dadu Press Club. It was joined by a big number of citizens and social activists.
It was led by Pakistan Zindabad Movement Chairman Sarfraz Kalhoro, Senior Vice Chairman Bashir Memon, Vice Chairman Niaz Hussain Kaboro, General Secretary Ali Hassan Chandio and Press Secretary Shahzad Ali Zounr.
Addressing the participants of the rally, Sarfaraz Kalhoro said that Musharraf was loyal to Pakistan. He said that he remained a great worrier and Pakistan was developed under his command. He said that during the rule of Musharraf, the enemy countries were defeated by the Pakistan Army and Kargil was one of the best examples of his leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Niaz Hussain Kaboro said that Musharraf had protected the borders of country for 40 years and he remained very sincere to the country. He said that the Pak Army was protecting the country, and added that the entire nation was united on this illegal and unconstitutional verdict. He alleged that the verdict had been announced against Musharraf just to please India. He urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice and cancel this verdict of the court.
Ali Hassan Chandio said the entire nation was angry over the verdict against Musharraf. Ali Hassan Chandio and Shahzad Ali Zounr also spoke on the occasion.
