KARACHI: Two suspects involved in sexual harassment were arrested by Mubina Town police on the written complaint from a woman on Thursday.
According to the SHO Mubina Town Meraj Anwar, police received information from some residents of MN Residency located in Gulshan-i-Iqbal in the remit of Mubina Town police station that some suspects had entered in a flat of building and were harassing a woman.
The Police mobile reached at the spot and arrested the two suspects from the spot who were identified as Tanveer and Owais and shifted them in lockup of police station.
Police said that the incident came in the knowledge of residents after the victim shouted in her house for help and protection.
The Police has registered a F.I.R. No. 180/17 against both accused under section 354/452/34 P.P.C while further investigation is underway.
