FC man martyred, three injured in IED attack

One Frontier Corp (FC) soldier was martyred and three others sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast that took place at Khona Kandaw, Pasad Khel, the Pak-Afghan bordering area on Thursday. The forces official while confirming the happen said that the FC troops carried out routine patrolling in the area they were hit by IED, concealed by unknown miscreant in pedestrians way. As a result one soldier identified as Sepoy Taqdeer lost his life at the spot. Three FC personnel known as Naib Subedar Rahat Gul, Kamran and Shah Munir received multiple wounds who were shifted to nearest forces health centre for medical treatment, the official said. Soon after the happen, the forces officials rushed to the spot, cordoned off the area and collected evidences from the site for investigation. It is to be mentioned here that Pasad Khel area had been remained clear in the last war against terrorism.
