OTTAWA: Canada and France are “committed to strengthening” their cooperation in fighting terrorism, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said that on Thursday during a visit to Ottawa.
“We are absolutely committed to strengthening our counter-terrorism cooperation,” Valls told a joint news conference with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau. He said that the two nations would increase intelligence sharing between their respective security agencies.
