Dr Sagar Singh said that in this polio campaign at least 0.3 million children will be administered polio drops in this connection at least 583 teams have been constituted Dr further said one polio case has been found in Dokri, tehsil of Larkana district, therefore Shikarpur is under threat while due to cold weather peoples migrate from other cold places to another places in this regard fear is being available in Shikarpur as well.
Dr Sandeep, the WFO representative, said that the performance of Union Councils 3, 5, 7, 8, Madeji & Sultan is not satisfactory.
Ali Raza Ansari, the ADC-1 Shikarpur, said that worthy Chief Secretary has issued zero tolerance directions in respect of polio campaign and said that he has also received a large number of complaints against Education and Local Government employees for not attending training and polio campaign and issued strict direction to Assistant Director Local Government to ensure the availability of employees otherwise concrete departmental action would be taken against them.
Dr Shabir Shaikh, DHO Shikarpur, Dr Shahid Lakho, SRSO Incharge Shikarpur, PPHI representatives, and other officers attended the meeting and assured their full support.
