Mayor inaugurates service road in Sector E-11

ISLAMABAD: Development of state-of-the-art, durable and well planned road infrastructure in the city is our top priority, Islamabad Mayor Shaikh Anser Aziz said on Monday.

He was inaugurating the service road (east) in Sector E-11. On the occasion, Deputy Mayor Syed Zeeshan Naqvi and CDA Engineering Member Asad Mehboob Kiyani, chairmen of various union councils, including Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Raja Waheed, Farman Mughal, Chaudhary Allah Ditta, MCI and CDA officers and the general public were also present.

The mayor said that the road had been constructed to provide easy access to the newly-opened Sector D-12 and C series sectors. “Development work in Sector D-12 has been completed. Now, a large number of people are are constructing their houses. That is why the traffic burden in the area has increased. Construction of this road will help reduce traffic congestion in Sector E-11 and D-12.
