Three FC men shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA: At least three Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were killed while another received serious injuries when unidentified motorists opened fire on them on Sabzal Road near Uzbak Chowk, Quetta.

According to details, the troops were on routine patrol when the unidentified motorists opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result, Naik Muhammad Arif, Abdul Latif and Faizullah died on the spot, while a soldier sustained injuries. The injured was immediately shifted to the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital. After receiving information about the incident, Quetta Commissioner Amjad Ali Khan, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Wahid Kakar and law enforcers immediately rushed to the crime scene and cordoned off the area. However, the accused managed to escape. The bodies were later handed over to their heirs. Provincial Interior Minister Mir Sarfraz Bughti strongly condemned the terror incident and said, “Our youngsters are sacrificing their lives for peace.”
