BARCELONA: Lionel Messi is set to return to action from the bench after being left out of the starting line-up for the match against Deportivo la Coruna.

Messi was side-lined for over three weeks due to a groin problem, but is expected to make an appearance in the second-half ahead of Barca’s huge Champions League clash with Manchester City on Wednesday.

Both Luis Suarez and Neymar start despite their exertions in South American for the World Cup qualifying during the international break.

However, Barca boss Enrique looks set to play with three at the back with Lucas Digne and Rafinha filling in as wing-backs due to the absence of injured full-backs Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto.
