Jahejo says police harassing PTI leader in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Hyderabad region president Khawand Bux Jahejo has accused police of harassing party’s leader Aslam Rajput. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that the police have registered fake cases against PTI Union Council 55 chairman at various police stations on the behest of Pakistan People’s Party leaders and former advisers Jabbar Khan and Hanif Rajput. Jahejo said that the Qasimabad police and Cantonment police have filed fake cases of police encounters, robberies, and dacoities against Aslam Rajput just to harass him. He said that the Hyderabad police have picked up relatives (four men and three women) of Aslam and released them when they paid three lac rupees bribe. He made an appeal to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the political victimisation of the PTI workers by the Hyderabad police.
