PTI youth firm to mobilise people for Oct 30 dharna

PESHAWAR: The activists of Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) youth wing belonging to tribal areas and Frontier Regions (FRs) vowed on Saturday to mobilise the party workers across the areas in thousands of numbers for October 30 Islamabad protest sit-in.

“Our march will be peaceful and appeal to all the masses to make sure their participation in the march for establishing the real democratic system in the country,” told Shahid Shinwari, central leader of Insaf Youth Wing FATA in a press conference at press club.

He said that federal government prioritized its personal interest on public interest and used different pretensions to save its government from the Panama Leaks. Criticizing the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had looted the country with both hands and deceives the masses.

He said that PTI wanted and demanded the formation of an independent commission for the controversial Panama Leaks aimed at awarding punishment to all the involved persons. “The Pakistan Prime Minister should follow the footprints of the other country and should morally step down of the premiership”, he suggested.

Flanked by Abdul Waheed Mehsood, Muhammad Ayub, Wahid Khan, Tanvir Dawar, Malik Saeed Orakzai, Imtiaz Afridi and others, he said that the recommendations of FATA Reforms Committee were unacceptable to them and demanded of the government to merge the tribal belt into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before the 2018 general elections.

He also demanded of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and central leadership to immediately restore the Insaf Youth Wing (ISW) in tribal areas and also elect a president for PTI FATA region on merit basis.

“No doubt the party activists in the areas are disappointed of the party leaders but we will mobile them on a short notice for the Islamabad protest sit-in. We hope the party central leaders will support us in provision of transport facility”, Shinwari hoped and said that if party leaders could not arranged they themselves would arrange 50 to 100 vehicles.
