MAJU joins higher education global network

Karachi: Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, (MAJU) Karachi has been granted the membership of International Network for Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education ( INQAAHE) which is an international regulatory body for maintaining quality among its 250 members institutions and university. President, M. A. Jinnah University Prof. Dr. Zubair sheikh while welcoming INQAAHE decision to grants its membership said that this initiative will help our education system to align with international quality of higher education. He said that we are ambitious to develop and enhance our quality of education according to national and international standard. He also appreciated the efforts of Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, MAJU Dr. Munir Hussain for achieving this mile stone.

Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, MAJU Dr Munir Hussain said that professional education has become more important as higher education institutions delivering programs in different modes and entering into the market. He said the purpose of joining this regulatory body is to create, collect and disseminate information on current and developing theory and practice in the assessment, improving and maintenance in quality in higher education. He said that INQAAHE membership will help us to undertake or commission research in areas relevant to quality in higher education and to express the collective views among members on matters relevant to quality in higher education through contact with international bodies and by other means.
