PepsiCo holds Sustainable Farming Program Road Show

Author: News Desk

As part of PepsiCo’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the company organised the ‘Sustainable Farming Program Road Show’ to promote sustainable farming practices for its potato farmers located in Kasur. The ‘Sustainable Farming Program’ (SFP) is part of PepsiCo’s ‘Next Generation Agriculture’ strategy which aims to drive progress in making agriculture more resilient, intelligent and inclusive.

Agriculture is the foundation of the food system and the root of PepsiCo’s business. To make their foods and beverages, PepsiCo uses more than 25 crops sourced across 60 countries and supports over 100,000 jobs in and throughout their agricultural supply chain. This scale and reach means that the standards and practices that PepsiCo employs and promotes can influence the environmental, social and economic impacts of agriculture around the world.”
