Change in Balochistan

Author: Daily Times

Sir: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had promised to the nation that it would change the present socio-political system in Balochistan. But after almost three years of the new government, there is no change visible and the law of the jungle still prevails in the province. Unfortunately, the sufferings of the Baloch nation have not ended.

There is no change in the education sector and law and order situation. The VIP culture is still prevalent in Balochistan. Unemployment is rampant and inflation is going unchecked. No relief has been provided in the agriculture sector and there is no end to the practice of nepotism. This suggests that there has been no change in Balochistan after the coming to power of the current government.
