Clay slab claims life, three injured

MERKOT: One succumbed to injuries out of four family members including two children who were buried under slab of clay while digging out it from a ditch in Mandhal village near Umerkot here on Friday.

According to details, Dileep Oad 30, wife Haliman 29 and two children Tulcho 5, Bharat 8, were digging clay from ditch near their village for construction of a Katcha mud house. Suddenly clay slab fell on them and they all were buried alive.

Villagers rushed there and at their own rescued them and shifted them to hospital. Dileep head of family succumbed to injuries. According to hospital administration others are out of danger and recovering health.
