In an emergency General Body meeting of the IBA, the lawyers passed a resolution wherein it was demanded that the lawyers of the Islamabad Bar Association be allowed to participate in the upcoming exam for the recruitment of AD&SJs. Syed Mohammad Tayyab Advocate, President of the IBA, said that there were hundreds of lawyers, who were practicing in Islamabad but they had domiciles of different cities of Punjab. He said that the advertisement for such recruitment had categorically declared the lawyers of the IBA as not eligible to apply and stressed that it was unfair, unjust and discriminatory.
