LAHORE: Not a big deal if India has put a ban on Pakistani artists, as life is still rolling with just as much action and glory back home in Pakistan for all its favourite celebrities.
Last week there was news about Mahira Khan signing Shoaib Mansoor’s next, and this week it’s our very own Rock-star, Ali Zafar signing a local deal. Yes! Ali Zafar is going to make his Pakistani film debut with Ahsan Ramin’s upcoming action-comedy movie.
The director has already made his mark with a number of music videos including Laga re, Sajania, Kismat Apne Hath Main, Preeto, and Dosti. He also has the Ufone TVC’s credited to his name. Ahsan will now be making his 1st full-fledged feature film casting Ali Zafar as his main lead.
The female to star opposite Ali has not been finalised yet and is still in the process of being auditioned. Ali Zafar’s Pakistani debut movie is set to release in 2017. As for his Bollywood movie ‘Dear Zindagi’, Ali’s part will not be a part of the trailer is all we know for now.
