SHIKARPUR: At least seven persons were killed while four suffered serious injuries when a tractor trolley lost its balance and overturned into a large ravine at Guddu Barrage near teshil Kashmore in the limits of Khambhra Police Station on Thursday. According to police, a family of Mazari community was moving to Shah Wali area of Punjab Province from village Masroor Khan Mazari, a suburb of tehsil Kashmore, and when they reached Guddu Barrage their ill-fated tractor trolley, which was full of luggage, lost its balance and overturned into the large ravine. The dead were identified as Ghulam Yasin, aged 40, Muhammad Ismail, 30, Ms Hamida, aged 35, Ms Hoor, aged 30, Lal Khatoon, aged 50, baby girl Shahina, and Ghulam Hyder, aged 4, while the names of injured persons could not be ascertained. Rescue teams rushed to the spot and brought the bodies and injured to Guddu Hospital for post-mortems and medical treatment.
