The Dreamers sets up Bazm-e-Kalaam

Author: News Desk

After their first breakthrough event of Trunk Sale in January 2019, The Dreamers came up with Bazm-e-Kalaam, an amazing concept of bringing art, music and literature under one roof by providing an extensive opportunity to the young talent to come together as one and present their artistic insight before the audience.

Mahiba Zahir and Sabaina Azeem – the founders of The Dreamers – put forth their efforts to organise an event that saw willing and inspiring artists perform poetry, paint and even sing to their own lyrics and compositions at Research and Publication Centre, Lahore.

Live painting artists Ayla Kayani, Azka Maqbool, Areeba and Emaan Khan apprised the attendees of their exceptional work of art and expressed their utter love and gratitude to The Dreamers for furnishing their ideas and work so effortlessly among the peers. The evening also saw emerging musicians Danial Naushahi and Muneeb Butt sing and perform to their compositions, who kept the audience engaged by their heartfelt performances.

Organisation brings literature, music and art under one roof

Sadia Sarmad and Abdul Rehman, the two amazing storytellers from Suno Kahani Meri Zubani, enacted a piece of classical reading in their extraordinary storytelling session. Jawad Raza, an outstanding stand-up comedian, appreciated the idea of Bazm-e-Kalaam along with other literature lover participants from various organisations.

Team Dreamers made it possible for the people to not only attend but also participate in an environment that is supportive, reassuring and inclusive. Bazm-e-Kalaam recognized today’s need of closed space and open dialogue where every individual is free to express their mind and speak their hearts out, a platform that is free from all external barriers and is solely built on vision and enlightenment.
