KARACHI: Paksarzameen Layers’ forum will struggle for the implementation of human rights, enforcement of law and order and justice ideologically and practically”, said Secretary General PSP, Raza Haroon addressing participants of conference and Lawyers Forum election held on Friday at Pakistan House.

Sayed Farhat Hussain Naqwi was elected as President of the lawyers Forum, Sarkaruddin as Senior Vice President, Shahid Hussain Memon as Vice President, Shahid Iqbal as Vice President, Waseem Qadri, Vice President, Abdul Ghaffar Khan Kakar as General Secretary, Nisar Ahmed Dogar as Joint Secretary,Zeenat Saleem as Information Secretary, Tariq Mehmood as Additional General Secretary, Naseem-ur-Rehman as Finance Secretary.

Haroon appreciated the role of lawyers in the national politics and paid tributes to them for their services for the cause of democracy.

Unfortunately Pakistan’s people have been divided in the name of nationalism, ethnicity, religion and race, Haroon lamented adding “Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani believe in national politics which benefits all rather than serving few in the society. Such people are really respectable for them”.

“End enmity and spread love. We could get our constitutional and democratic rights if we join hands together and make efforts for them”, he vowed.

“The way is difficult. We may face many hindrances to achieve our legal rights. We hope that lawyers’ body will be hand in glove with us all the time and will help us in the light of law”, he said.
