Two sisters among three minors drown

SHIKARPUR: A painful incident took the villagers and family members in deep grief before Eidul Fitr when three minor girls’ including two real sisters drowned into fish pond which was situated outside the village Abad Kehar when one of the three girls was slipped into fish pond while two other girls tried to save drowned girl and they also drowned into fish pond when they were playing beside fish pond, in the limits of Jamal Pur Police Station, here on other day late evening.

Saleem Raza, the SHO Jamal Pur, in a conservation with this scribe said that three of the girls’ identified as Sabira, 07, Saiqa, 08, daughters of Shams Uddin Kehar and another girl identified as Dilshad, of 09, daughter of Haji Nazal Kehar were drowned into fish pond outside their village, SHO informed.

In addition to, local divers fished out the bodies and handed over to their heirs without conducting necessary medical formalities.

Replying to a question about the owner of fish pond, he said that fish pond was personal property of Tepedar Allah Wadhayo Soomro.

No FIR was registered till this story was filed.
