Jummatul Wida observed in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Jummatul Wida, the last Friday of holy Month of Ramazan, was observed with religious passion and enthusiasm in Sukkur district.

A large number of fasting people swamped to the mosques to offer Friday prayers and seek blessings of God Almighty.

The main congregation was held at the Jamia Masjid Bunder road, Allah Wali Masjid, Makrani Masjid, Manzal Gah, where the local as well as national level political leaders offered their prayers. Religious Scholars and Khateebs in their sermons highlighted the significance of Ramazan, Laila-tul-Qadr and Jummatul Wida.

With starting of day, special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of the country and unity and harmony amongst the Muslim Ummah.

Jamait Wahadul Muslimeen also took out a “Youm ul Qudus” rally and offered prayers for the liberation of occupied lands of Kashmir and Palestine from the yoke of occupying forces.
