PESHAWAR: A two-days training on Gender-Based Violence was arranged for domestic woman workers and others. The training was organized by the Aware Girls non-governmental organization in Nowshera on Friday. Up to 30 women, including girls, were in attendance. The aim was to sensitize women and make them aware of Gender-Based Violence including domestic violence, sexual harassment, emotional abuses and how to overcome and eradicate it from the society. Sana Gulzar, the social worker and trainer, sensitized the women on the gender-based issues and conducted various sessions.
