LAHORE: Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that ‘a reverse counting’ has started for the rulers so they should accept PTI’s accountability demand.
While meeting with senior party leaders on Sunday, he said that if the government’s intention was honest, the Panama leaks problem could be solved within days. “November 2 protest has been decided and is finalised – no amendment can be made,” he said.
According to Sarwar, the rulers have had taken numerous loans that will be difficult for the coming generations to repay and the PTI is fighting for this accountability – which is its constitutional and legal demand. “It is manifestation of national desires, amid the beginning of reverse counting. It will be better for the rulers to solve the issue otherwise get ready for an agitated PTI,” he warned.
