ANP leader renews pledge to safeguard interests of Pakhtuns

Provincial President of Awami National Party (ANP) Aimal Wali Khan has said that the rulers in their areas are not the true representative of Pakhtuns and therefore the decisions being taken by them are totally adverse to the interest of Pakhtuns. He pledged that ANP will leave no stone unturned to safeguard interests of Pakhtun community.

These views were expressed by him while addressing to a public gathering here in Malik Darya Khan Afridi hujra on Wednesday evening.

He said that it irony of the time that the rulers, ruling the Paktuns were not their real representatives and that was the reason that the former formulated policies ignoring interests of Pakhtuns. Aimal Wali Khan criticized the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and said it passed ACT regarding declaring all minerals in merged districts government property and said it proved their enmity with the tribesmen and ANP would move to court against it.

“ANP fulfilled its promise of merging the ex-tribal region into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in phase we will strive hard to separate Pakhtuns area from Baluchistan province”, Aimal Wali Khan remarked.

The prevailed situation in the merged tribal districts were worse and it was cleared that the tribal were deceived as a single promise were not materialised, he added and saying the government should accommodate the Khasadar and Levies forces in police as per merit. He urged the Pakhtuns to be united to foil the nefarious designs of their bad wishers. Central ANP leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilure, ANP district President Shah Hussain Shinwari, Malik Darya Khan Afridi and others also spoke on the occasion.
