AJK president opens TMUC in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: The grand inauguration ceremony of The Millennium University College (TMUC) was held at Bahria Springs in Rawalpindi to provide transnational education through a range of international qualifications to the youth of Pakistan, says a press release issued by the organisation.

Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan, the president of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, was the chief gue4st while TMUC Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Executive Director Anna Faisal, Dean of Academics, Principal Shabana Jaspal and Head of International Programs, Country Head University of London Saad Waseem also attended.

In his welcome speech, Faisal Mushtaq thanked the distinguished guests for gracing the occasion while reflecting on the TMUC’s mission and commitment to bring quality education to the Pakistani youth so that they can confidently meet the global challenges of the 21st century. TMUC aims to be an institution of higher learning dedicated to providing innovative undergraduate, graduate, and professional education, he said, and added that by bringing a range of international qualifications home, TMUC aspires to be recognized as the leading institution of borderless education, committed to providing opportunities that exceed local stream of education to the youth of Pakistan.

The students at TMUC will undertake basic and applied research with a view of revolutionizing the study of entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, social and management sciences and many more; hence scale emerging models and research that could eventually be translated into life-long learning, innovation, education and change for national development. By providing an eclectic portfolio of transnational higher education qualifications, TMUC would assist Roots Millennium School’s mission and commitment to developing the right set of skills, attitudes, knowledge and values within graduating Millennials so that they can confidently meet the global challenges of the 21st century.

Later, the chief guest unveiled the inaugural plaque and presented high achievement awards to The Millennium University College staff.
