Farooq Sattar announces Awami Raabita campaign

Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has announced to start 100-day long “Awami Raabita campaign” from next week.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Dr Sattar said that the campaign will be commenced in next two days and parliamentarians of MQM Pakistan and local government representatives will constitute teams and visit their constituencies and union councils.

As part of the campaign, small and large meetings will be held. Dr Sattar said that the party will try to solve the problems of metropolis and its inhabitants with the available funds. The MQM leader asked party workers not to be disheartened or lose faith in the party in present circumstances. He reiterated that MQM Pakistan was registered in the Election Commission of Pakistan under his name. “Workers can depend on MQM Pakistan as it is the only party representing them,” he added.
